If an author updates the article after publishing, will the new information be included too?
Unfortunately, no.
Every story retains initial data without updating anything (those that came into the system immediately after publishing).
Although it may seem illogical, it has proven to be the best practice for larger publishers because the typical life-cycle of an article is 72 hours on average (hence the Longtail after 3 days), but the CPI is 90% valid 24 hours after publication.
That's why it's important to load our tracking code only after publishing and not in the preview mode.
