Why do I see more hits in the graph, than in the list?

It can happen that the graph in the Goals-dashboards shows more hits, than the total of all stories on the display together. This happens when there are conversions without a story-ID. In that case you will see the stories which contributed to the amount of hits, but the pages which also contributed but without a story-ID are not shown. Examples of these kind of pages are landing pages, subscribe-pages or other non-story-pages.

In the dashboard below the graph shows there are 5 hits so far. The list with stories shows only one story since there was only one story connected to a hit. The other 4 hits were generated on pages without a story connected.
